Executive Chairman of Jinjiang Environment Wang Yuanluo wins Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2017™ for China

(SINGAPORE,  25  November  2017)  –  China  Jinjiang  Environment  Holding  Company Limited

(“Jinjiang Environment” and together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”; Stock Code: BWM), a leading waste-to-energy (“WTE”) operator in the People’s Republic of China (“PRC”), today announced that the Group Executive Chairman Ms Wang Yuanluo has won the annual Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2017 for China, organised by Ernst and Young Global Limited.

Started in 1986, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award is one of the most prestigious international business awards in the world. Today, the awards programme has expanded to more than 145 cities in 60 countries and regions, with awards presented to over one thousand of the most successful and innovative entrepreneurs around the world.

Launched in the PRC in 2006, this awards programme, also known as the “Business Oscars”, has since become a widely recognised one throughout the country. It honours entrepreneurs in the PRC who have achieved extraordinary success and become role models in their respective business fields. It also recognises the contributions these entrepreneurs have made in terms of creating enterprises, enhancing overall competitiveness among Chinese enterprises and driving the growth of the Chinese economy.

Ms Wang Yuanluo has won this award for her achievements in bolstering the organisational strength, growth potential, operational performance, innovation capabilities, and other aspects of Jinjiang Environment.

From the establishment of the PRC’s first WTE plant using Circulating Fluidised Bed incineration technology till today, Jinjiang Environment has built up a high level of investment and construction, a strong operating system and deep level of experience. Under the leadership of Ms Wang Yuanluo, Jinjiang Environment has become the leading WTE operator in the PRC.

Commenting on the win, Ms. Wang Yuanluo, Executive Chairman of Jinjiang Environment, said: I am extremely honoured to receive the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. This is not just an encouragement for myself, but also a mark of endorsement for the Group from the capital markets and professional bodies. Ultimately, we will strive to maintain our position as the leading WTE operator in the PRC and achieve more milestones in the future.
